An unusual double-signed Audemars Piguet / Türler wristwatch from the 1950s, presented in warm 18ct gold. With a 26 x 26 mm case, this watch exudes classic mid-century design while carrying the provenance and craftsmanship that define Audemars Piguet. Türler was founded by brothers César Alexander and Jean Henri Türler in 1883 in Biel, Switzerland. They sold and co-signed watches by Vacheron Constantin, Blancpain, Omega, Jaeger le Coultre and International Watch Co (IWC) amongst other prestigious brands.
Key highlights
Double-signed rarity: two marques on the dial, a hallmark of special provenance and heightened collectability.
Ultra-thin manual-wind caliber: Running on AP’s collectible caliber 2003, its slim movement allows for much thinner case, giving this watch a dressy and low profile silhouette that sits closely to the wrist
Original solid gold buckle with hallmarks and original Audemars Piguet brown leather presentation box
Condition: Very good overall; the dial has been sympathetically refinished to restore its original character
